Two Days Workshop on Python was organized by the department of Computer Science Engineering at United College of Engineering & Research (UCER), Allahabad in association with Softpro India Computer Technologies Pvt. Ltd. The workshop was attended by Computer Science Engineering and Information Technology students.
Dr K.S. Babulal, HOD (Computer Science Engineering), UCER Allahabad welcomed the key speaker and also guided the students about importance of attending and learning in such type of workshop.Mr O P Yadav,Mr Abhishek Kesharwani, Mr Lalman and Mr Ramji dixit coordinated the workshop.
Mr. Brijesh Mishra, Python development trainer from Softpro India Computer Technologies Pvt. Ltd. familiarized the audience with the need of Python and Research based projects on Python. He said that by further explorations of the Python programming language students become an expert in Data Analysis and Data Science projects. He then introduced the installation of Python, Physical computing using Python, Web Architecture of Python, Web application Development (Project) and SMS API integration. It was a very enriching and knowledgeable Workshop.
“The united club” which is the first formal club of UCER, organised its inauguration ceremony on 9th oct. 2017 at UCER auditorium. The function was attended by the faculty members and first year students in large numbers. The function began with the ribbon cutting ceremony by Principal UCER, (Prof) Dr. H.P. Shukla sir following which he briefed the students about the importance of extra curriculars. The coordinators of the club gave a presentation on the vision, core values and work culture of the club. They also told that they’ll also be doing social service. The first event in the series INVICTUS was also formally launched on the occasion. The function ended with the national anthem.
TECHIE OF THE YEAR, a Coding Competition was conducted at UCER, Naini, Allahabad.by TECHNOPHILE society of Computer Science Engineering and Information Technology Department held on 23rd & 24th march 2017.
194 students participated in the event out of which two students from 1st year and two students from 2nd and 3rd year from CS department were selected as winner.
The prize distribution ceremony was held on 1st May 2017.The winners of the event are:

The event was a great success with the cooperation of Dr. H.P. Shukla, Principal (UCER), Mr. Sudhanshu Kannojia, Dean Academics, Dr.Sanjay Srivastava HOD (First Year),Mr. Swapnil Srivastava HOD(EN/EE),and Mr Abhishek Kesharwani coordinated the Event.
